Utilizing every view-plane possible to capture the beautiful coastline and bay views far below, this main house, guest cottage and pool cluster and angle around the rim edge.

To strata the house around the bluff as well as de-emphasize the height, the 4,500 square-foot house and 500 square-foot guest cottage incorporate shallow roof pitches and large overhangs. The bluff facing spaces are fully designed to maximize the air flow from the trade winds whilst the courtyard was created as an exterior yet protected area.

Using corrugated roofing, concrete wall finishes, both natural wood and man-made door & window systems, this style evokes subtle Hawaiian imagery in contemporary yet simple forms. Interior detailing encompassing Ipe & concrete flooring, modern lighting, plumbing, granites, etc. achieves both modern and open spaces.
