This charming cottage is juxtaposed with a small studio on the same lot. The cottage style embraces a variety of elements and details that include double pitched roofs, dutch gables, double-hung mullioned windows and doors, corbels and rock wainscots. These features are echoed in the studio as well as in the cottage.

The house design completely solves every aspect of cooling and ventilation that parallels the 'green' in Hawaiian Design yet enwrapping itself with very contextual and historical forms.
