An Island Retreat

The accomplished objective was the remodel and expansion of this remote hilltop retreat. The 2,700 square-foot house was completely redone including a new lanai with spa. Original unique features including beautiful stained glass panels, leaded glass doors, and mango and koa woodwork were refinished and integrated into the new layout. The master bath was redesigned and a new cherry floor installed throughout.

Views and ventilation were improved with new windows and exterior doors. New exterior decks were installed, and the spa equipment was hidden inside a new hillside bunker. Luxuriant new landscaping, complete with secluded outdoor shower, enhanced the tropical feel of this revitalized sanctuary.
