The original 2-story home and adjoining apartment. in Nuuanu, Honolulu, had the entrance on the lower floor.

In the completed renovation, a new upper entry, 2 car garage and driveway achieved a revitalized home that was desired to be divided and separated from the apartment below. Enclosing the lower garage into additional habitable quarters further solved the equation.

Overall, respecting the age of the home (built in 1928), together with carefully embellishing the interiors throughout, resulted in a carefully crafted historical remodel.
